Markaz Fazle Haq Academy, also known as Andaman Markaz, is a renowned non-governmental institute named after the freedom fighter and scholar Al Sheikh Fazl-I-Haq Khairabadi(r). It blends spiritual and modern education, aiming to shape scholars who excel in both religious and worldly knowledge. The institution emphasizes theology while also offering exposure to current information and technology. Over the years, it has grown with the spiritual presence of its namesake. Its mission is to guide a new generation of enlightened Islamic thinkers.
Since its humble beginning in 1978 as a college of Islamic studies and Orphanage, Jamia Markaz (The Markaz Academia) has gradually grown to become the flagship of Islamic and modern education for Muslims in India, which later took a decisive role in shaping an ideal culture for them by creatively blending education, charity and national consciousness. People from all walks of life, the elite, the poor, the educated and the commoner, joined Markaz in its progressive journey of social change. Markaz has grown from a singular vision into a vast network of over 150 institutions across 24 states of India and Union Territories, including Kashmir, Ladakh, Andaman, Lakshadweep, Pondicherry, and extending its reach to foreign shores. Markaz Fazl-I-Haq Academy is a successful non-governmental and philanthropic institute under Markaz. It works in Andaman & Nicobar Island and provides Islamic plus modern education to hundreds of students. I am thrilled that the Fazl-I-Haq Academy is a proud venture under Markaz, and I urge all to support the institution for its service towards the development of the community
